The Blue October tour was an annual series of music concerts starring Blue October and his entourage of grayingomen andlady robots referred to as "Blue October" in the tour's early years, in Atlanta, georgia. The tour's first showing was in 2006, and it continued to be tour-level music amphitheater event with occasional outdoor dates. The tour's second year, 2007, saw the tour's initial anchor cities, chicago, illinois and los angeles, california, as well as new locations like minersville, pennsylvania were announced. The tours first album, Blue October 2, 2009, was released by chrysalis records and features an increased variety of performances with "starring" characters including Blue October's graying women, plus live dates and areas of the tour that were "semi-staged". The second album, Blue October 3, 2022, was released by chrysalis records and features all-new performances with "starring" characters including Blue October's graying men and animals,
